SERVICE DESK ENGINEER – LEVEL 1

ROLE

You will join the Service Desk team of one of our major clients, providing first-line support to end users located in Brussels, Antwerp, and other sites across Belgium. You have experience working in a Service Delivery environment and are familiar with Service Desk application tools.

As the client primarily uses Microsoft products, our Service Desk Engineers are required to hold Microsoft certifications. If you’re not yet certified, IT Anywhere offers you the opportunity to obtain these credentials.

PROFILE

Required Knowledge & Experience:

  • Education: Professional Bachelor of Applied Computer Science or equivalent
  • Certifications: ITIL certificate is a strong asset
  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch, French and English
  • Driving License: Category B
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience


Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Windows Pro & Enterprise (MD-102 certification is a strong plus)
  • Microsoft Windows Server
  • Microsoft Cloud Technologies such as M365 and Azure
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Copilot+
  • Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V is a strong plus
  • Scripting and programming skills are an advantage
  • Troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks
  • Experience with ITIL principles and working practices is a strong plus (if you’re not certified yet, you’ll be expected to obtain the ITIL certification within 6 months)


Attitude & Personality:

  • Able to accurately log incidents and service requests, and follow known problems, knowledge base articles and standard procedures to resolve or restore service
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (Dutch, French, and English)

  • Able to perform under pressure while maintaining quality
